1. Raw Papaya

Raw Papaya is one of the best remedies for treating ring worm. The enzyme contained in raw papaya is effective in killing the fungus that causes ringworm.

Things Required

Slice of raw papaya
Dried papaya seeds

How To Use

Take a freshly cut slices of raw papaya and rub gently on the ringworm patches. Let the enzyme work on the rash for at least 15 minutes and wash off using hot water. Repeat the process several times a day to get cured completely. Alternatively, make a paste using dried papaya seeds and apply on the affected area to find quick relief from itching and burning.

2. Garlic

The antifungal properties of garlic have been clinically proven. Due to this, it is one of the most effective remedies for treating ringworm.

Raw garlic paste
Garlic capsule or extract

How To Use

Crush or grind garlic to make a paste. Apply the paste in the areas affected with ringworm with the help of clean cotton ball. Leave it in the skin. Apply 2-3 times daily until the patches completely heal. Alternatively, take 2 tsp garlic extract three times daily. With its antifungal activity, it will purify your blood and bring relief from infection.


3. Apple Cider Vinegar

Apple cider vinegar is another good remedy for treating ringworm. It helps to kill the fungus which causes ringworm. Vinegar and salt are also a good combination for treating ringworm.

Apple cider vinegar
Cotton ball or gauze
Plain vinegar

How To Use

Using a gauze or cotton ball, apply undiluted apple cider vinegar to the affected area several times a day. If you are suffering from Athlete’s foot, application of undiluted vinegar can sting a lot. Better soak your feet in a tub of warm water after adding undiluted vinegar. Also, apply apple cider vinegar to the areas that are prone to infection.

This will prevent ringworm from spreading. If apple cider vinegar is not available, use can vinegar and salt after making a paste by combing both the ingredients. Apply the paste directly to the affected part, leave for 10 minutes and wash. Continue the treatment until the patches heals completely.

4. Ginger

Ginger contains a minimum of twenty anti-fungal compounds. Thus, it is a good remedy for treating ringworm.

Prepare ginger tea by adding ½ inch of grated fresh ginger root in a cup of water; Steep for 5 minutes; strain and then drink. Drink ginger tea two or three times a day.
